This year we are delighted to have performances by St Paul’s Primary School, Parish of Brentford Choir, Mad About Gospel Choir and Hounslow Community Brass Band

As usual, the Nativity Animals come from Miller’s Ark.

With thanks to Ballymore, London Borough of Hounslow and Inspire Hounslow for their generous sponsorship.

We are in the final stages of preparation for this year’s Carols in the Park! On Monday, 16th Dec, we will be putting up a stage for the brass band and choirs, decorating the park with twinkly lights, warming up the mulled wine, settling in the animals and getting ready for a fabulous community celebration.

Thank you to everyone who has helped distribute over 4,000 flyers already, we’ve got around 800 left to hand out.

To help the event go well, we would appreciate support in the following areas, even just an hours help would be great:

Before the event

If you live in flats with entryphone systems, we haven’t been able to deliver to you – would you like flyers for your neighbours?

Set up

We will be starting set up on Monday around 3pm (before it gets dark), can you help with carrying chairs, putting up gazebos, fairy lights, etc.?

Stewarding

We need a team of stewards to help welcome guests, hand out song sheets (if needed) encourage guests not to go past the cordoned off/back stage areas, collect litter, etc.

Pack down

If we have enough people helping, this can be done in an hour!

If you can help in any of these ways to make this event wonderful, please email sara@hencorner.com

We do hope that you can join us, refreshments will be served from 6.20pm whilst the band play and the animals get cosy.

The event is completely free to attend, but we will be raising money for those less fortunate than ourselves, please be generous in the season of giving.

This event is brought to you by the Friends of St Paul’s Rec in partnership with St Paul’s Church, Brentford Free Church, St Paul’s School, RedRoutemaster.com and Brentford Chamber of Commerce.
